Introduction

As a senior consultant, I am the point of contact for clients with ambitions to build a structure in soil or concrete. Together with a team of specialists, we translate those ambitions into optimal designs and supervise the construction for the best results. You can contact me for any complex job or in case of high sustainability ambitions.

What do I do at ABT

Over a period of 23 years, I have filled virtually all technical roles: inspector, draftsman, structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, concrete technologist, innovator, project manager, acquirer, legal expert and (line) manager. As a senior consultant, I see all these roles on a daily basis and help clients achieve successful projects.

My side-line as a lecturer of the Concrete Association allows me to share my knowledge of sustainable concrete widely. My other side-line as an arbitrator for the Board of Arbitration is in line with my fascination for damages and litigation.

My dream for the future

I would like to pass on to colleagues the knowledge passed on to me by predecessors, as well as the long-standing relationship with various clients. In my experience, concrete and prosperity are inseparable. I want to make a significant contribution to the sustainability of concrete. Let us hope that by the end of my career, concrete will have zero impact.
