Design force new construction
Now and in the coming decades, we must develop future-proof buildings: adaptive, detachable and climate-positive. After all, we do not know how a new building will be used 10, 20 or 50 years from now. Therefore, we strive to simplify buildings. Based on designs that are not very complex, but that are smart and flexible.
Building adaptability is the degree to which a building is able to meet changing needs and requirements. Change may be required by changing usage needs (office transferred to residential building), higher or lower usage intensity, or new technological requirements. Clients want to anticipate changing demand in new buildings and need building concepts that are future-proof with sufficient flexibility.
In the design process, we explicitly consider the use of bio-based and circular materials. Computational solutions and combining our deep technical expertise with powerful, digital data analysis, will result in a range of design options and (material) combinations. These are steering tools for the design team and the client to make the optimal design choice, based on facts.
