ABT partner of BuildUPspeed

To achieve the CO2 targets for 2050, most European buildings need significant renovation. However, there are still many obstacles on both the demand and supply side that prevent building renovation from reaching the necessary scale. This applies to both the private and public sector.

Various EU H2020 projects have already uncovered a wealth of solutions for thorough renovation. The BuildUPspeed project builds upon these results and outcomes, focusing particularly on projects and actions related to prefabrication, BIM adaptation for renovation, and Industry 4.0.

The goal is to transition from exploration to actual market acceptance of innovative renovation practices in Europe. Specifically, the project emphasizes the market acceptance of industrialized solutions, both at the product and process levels.
