Introduction
My name is Bert Lebbink, and I am a lead consultant at ABT. I studied civil engineering, specializing in steel structures/offshore structures, at TU Delft. I started my career as an engineer at Heerema Engineering Services in Leiden. Subsequently, I worked as a structural engineer, project leader, advisor, and specialist at ABT in Velp, with a two-year stint at Witteveen+Bos in Deventer in between.
What I do at ABT
My passion lies in infrastructural constructions, such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and other infrastructure like foundations for structures for ProRail. I have had the pleasure of working on the Erasmus Bridge, the city bridge in Kampen, the railway bridge over the IJssel in Zwolle, and the railway bridge in Zuidhorn. Additionally, I was involved in various smaller structures, such as developing a new type of foundation for overhead line structures along the railway, for ProRail and Deutsche Bahn.
My dream for the future
I hope to continue working on projects for ProRail and to mentor young colleagues in developing their knowledge.
