My name is Charley Meyer and I have a great passion for building physics, sustainability and health of the built environment. After completing my master’s degree in Building Technology at Delft University of Technology, I started as a trainee at Oosterhoff. I was given the opportunity to perform different roles at different companies within Oosterhoff. Project management at bbn, building physics at ABT and installation engineering at abtWassenaar. Within all these roles, my focus was on sustainable construction. My broad experience and network within the organization are valuable within my current role as a building physics specialist with a focus on a sustainable, healthy living environment.
What I do at ABT
Working on a sustainable, healthy living environment is my drive. I do this by making colleagues, partners and customers aware of our impact on people and the environment.
My dream for the future
As consultants in the built environment, we have quite an impact on the environment. By being aware of this responsibility and an integral approach to finding smart solutions, we can really make a difference. Together with integral design teams, I like to consider what the task and the users require. After all, every project is customized and has its own different solutions. Every day we learn more about our impact. By monitoring and connecting, I aim to accelerate the progress we make. My mission is to create together a living environment in which we take responsibility for our impact on people and the environment.
