Sasha Rodriguez Arambatzis

Introduction

My name is Sasha Rodriguez Arambatzis and since 2022 I have been working at ABT as a building physics specialist. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in architecture at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, I gained a year of experience as a building physics consultant. During this period, my passion for building physics grew, which only strengthened my desire to pursue a master’s degree in building technology at TU Delft. During my master’s program, I also developed a strong interest in health, indoor comfort, energy, and sustainability. These are the areas where my passion lies and in which I have specialized.

What I do at ABT

My role at ABT is a building physics specialist, where I am also involved in integrated design. Additionally, I am a BENG expert and provide advice on the energy efficiency of residential and utility buildings, aiming to integrate the goals of the Paris Proof agreement as much as possible. My main interest lies in advanced building simulations to ensure indoor comfort and the health of building users. Furthermore, I am part of the core team of the Building Physics, Acoustics, and Fire Safety department and organize fun events for my colleagues within the department.

My dream for the future

My future dream is to give indoor comfort and user health an even more important role in the building design process. I want to pay more attention to the individual comfort of different archetype users and integrate this into a healthy balance with energy consumption and sustainability goals.
