Introduction

I am a proactive structural designer and enjoy making architecture makeable. Our team of integral consultants has achieved optimal results. I joined ABT in 2009 after first working at several architectural firms. My role within ABT broadened and now I am a design leader. In this switch function, I monitor the overview between different disciplines. It is a great experience to design a building as a team and then see it come to life in construction or remodelling.

What I do at ABT

My job is diverse. From structural engineering and project coordination to quality supervision of various types of projects, such as shopping centres, hotels, residential buildings or laboratories. I always take an integrated view to achieve the client’s intended goal. I have a practical attitude and work solution-oriented. Working with the client to see what is the best solution for the building, taking into account all interests. For these issues I would like to be a discussion partner.

My dream for the future

Designing good buildings is more important than ever. Major challenges include energy consumption, circularity and resource reduction. We are in a transition. We already start to see clear differences in how we are to deal with designing and using buildings. I am happy to contribute to that!
