Rehabilitation of the HSL South viaducts
Rehabilitation of the HSL South viaducts
Along the HSL South line, between Hoofddorp and Leiderdorp, structural defects have been identified in nine railway viaducts. As a result, trains are unable to reach the intended top speed of 300 kilometres per hour. For the rehabilitation works, ProRail has selected three engineering firms with accreditation for Rail‑Bearing Civil Engineering Structures: Arcadis, Arup and Movares. ABT will join the project as Movares’ partner.

High-voltage project Rilland–Moerdijk
TenneT, the operator of the national high‑voltage grid, is constructing a critical 380 kV transmission connection between Rilland and Tilburg as part of the Borssele–Tilburg corridor. Strukton Wegen & Beton won the Rilland–Moerdijk contract section. This section comprises 127 tower locations, 95 of which are new. abtWassenaar and ABT are providing the foundation designs for the new transmission towers.
