Introduction

I am Antoinet Peek and I work as a geotechnical specialist. In my work, I focus on diverse projects within sectors including non-residential construction, infrastructure, and water safety. In doing so, I combine the theoretical knowledge I gained during my studies at TU Delft and the University of Twente with practical applications. It is precisely the translation of theory into smart, optimized designs that energizes me.

What I do at ABT

As a geotechnical specialist at ABT, I work on a wide range of challenges. This varies from relatively small projects requiring targeted calculations to complex projects where integrated collaboration and coordination are central. Ultimately, every project revolves around finding an optimal solution: safe, efficient, and sustainable. To support this, I also focus on developing digital solutions that contribute to a smarter and more efficient design process.

My dream for the future

In the future, I envision a field where not only safety but also the environmental impact of designs takes center stage. Sustainability will thereby become a self-evident starting point within every design. Through the use of digital tools and automation, we can continuously optimize our underground designs, leading to smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions.
