Introduction

It is my passion to create challenging architecture that is makeable. That’s why I joined ABT in 2007. Before this, I worked for almost ten years as a project manager at a progressive architectural firm in Rotterdam. In this period I worked a lot with ABT in challenging projects.

What I do at ABT

As a senior design leader/consultant, I am an important link within projects. It is my job to build good relationships with all project stakeholders. I believe that good relationships make a good projects. An important task is the coordination of all technical disciplines. And their integration into building components at every stage of a project.

Many disciplines will merge in the development of the façade: building technology, construction, building physics, installations, fire safety, execution and costs. I have experience in various disciplines and van combine this knowledge during projects. I focus on translating architecture into technically feasible buildings, within the established technical and aesthetic principles.

You can call me for any challenging projects and complex façades. My broad knowledge and extensive experience of the building envelope has made me one of the specialists of the knowledge group Façades & Glass. The group is composed of specialists from various disciplines, who will together arrive at innovative solutions.

My dream for the future

We are facing a huge energy transition. Buildings and façades will have to become circular, modular and sustainable. How will we make the buildings of the future? What will the façades look like? I like to be involved in these complex tasks.
